The only moral function of government is the protection of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness! I wonder if the same folks would tear down a statue of Thomas Jefferson? Would the neo-cons tear down a statue of Thomas Jefferson if it was captioned "Peace, Commerce and Honest Friendship to all nations, entangling alliances with none."
